    About our UFO news

Latest news on Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), a topic of intrigue for decades, with sightings of strange objects in the sky being reported all around the world. The term 'UFO' refers to any aerial phenomenon that cannot be readily explained or identified by conventional means, such as aircraft or natural weather patterns. While most UFO sightings can be attributed to natural phenomena or human-made objects, a small percentage remain unexplained.

UFO sightings have been reported throughout history, with some of the earliest documented sightings dating back to ancient civilizations. However, it wasn't until the 20th century that UFO sightings gained widespread attention, with many people claiming to have witnessed extraterrestrial craft and beings. The 1947 Roswell incident in New Mexico is often cited as one of the most famous UFO sightings, with some individuals claiming that a UFO crashed in the area and that the U.S. government covered it up.

The study of UFOs, or ufology, has gained momentum in recent years as more individuals have come forward with stories of unexplained sightings. The U.S. government has also become increasingly interested in the phenomenon, with the Pentagon releasing previously classified videos in 2020 of Navy pilots encountering mysterious objects in the sky. The videos show objects moving at high speeds and performing manoeuvres that appear to defy known laws of physics. The release of these videos sparked renewed interest in the study of UAPs, and led to the establishment of a UAP Task Force within the U.S. military to investigate the phenomenon.

Despite the increasing interest in UFOs, there is still no conclusive evidence to support the existence of extraterrestrial life or the visitation of aliens to Earth. Many sceptics argue that UFO sightings can be easily explained as natural phenomena or hoaxes, and that claims of alien visitation are unsupported by scientific evidence. However, some ufologists argue that the lack of evidence is due to a cover-up by governments and other powerful entities to keep the truth about UFOs hidden.

The term UFO (unidentified flying object) is still commonly used to describe any aerial phenomenon that cannot be readily explained or identified by conventional means. However, in recent years, there has been a shift towards using the term UAP (unidentified aerial phenomenon) instead of UFO, as it is considered a more accurate and less stigmatised term. UAP is a broader term that encompasses not just objects that are flying, but any unexplained aerial phenomenon, including lights, shapes, and other anomalies. The U.S. military has also started using the term UAP in its recent reports and investigations into the phenomenon.

On 11 February 2023, an octagonal unidentified flying object was detected over northern Montana. It disappeared until spotted the next day in Wisconsin, flying at 20,000 feet over the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Tracked by NORAD, it was shot down over Lake Huron by order of US President Joe Biden on 12 February, by an AIM-9 Sidewinder missile fired from a Minnesota Air National Guard F-16. Asked by reporters if authorities had ruled out aliens or extraterrestrials, US General Glen VanHerck, Commander of North American Aerospace Defense Command and US Northern Command, responded: 'I'll let the intel community and the counterintelligence community figure that out. I haven't ruled out anything'.

While the debate over the existence of UFOs and extraterrestrial life continues, the topic remains a fascinating one for many people. The study of UFOs and ufology is likely to continue as individuals and organisations search for answers to the many unanswered questions surrounding this mysterious phenomenon.
