    Latest news on the Tour de France, one of the world's most prestigious cycling races that held its 111th edition in 2024 where Slovenian Tadej Pogačar won his third Tour de France title. Coverage includes route details, stages, teams, riders, results, and highlights of the Grande Boucle from the Grand Départ in Florence, Italy to the finish in Nice, France.

    The 2024 Tour de France was held from 29 June in Florence, which marked the first time Italy hosted the Grand Départ. The race covered a total distance of 3,492 km over 21 stages, and visisted the microstate of San Marino. The 2024 race finished in Nice on 21 July, instead of the traditional finale in Paris due to the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

    In the 2024 tour a total of 22 teams competed, including all 18 UCI WorldTeams and four UCI ProTeams (Lotto–Dstny, Israel–Premier Tech, Uno-X Mobility, and Team TotalEnergies). Top contenders for the yellow jersey included defending champion Jonas Vingegaard (Jumbo-Visma), two-time winner Tadej Pogačar (UAE Team Emirates), and French hopeful David Gaudu (Groupama-FDJ).
